One of the goals we have at Confiction Labs is to build a strong and passionate community that can support the ecosystem’s long-term development in many ways. XPSR-24 (Exposure) embodies this as the premier collection for the FICT ONE: Occultical universe. By holding XPSR-24, you are joining a movement that emphasizes community-driven development and innovation in the gaming and entertainment spaces. Owners of this NFT collection will champion the Collaborative Entertainment vision and receive rewards within the Occultical ecosystem, from priority access to content to potential airdrops.
We’ve been exploring different ways to implement utility with NFTs and these will be core to XPSR-24. We want to encourage community participation and also invite community members who can add value to the ecosystem. Think of XPSR-24 as a way to expose yourself to another side of entertainment possible only with web3.
Opening the Doors to the Community
Through XPSR-24, players can get deeply involved with Riftstorm and the Occultical universe. Owning XPSR-24 means they have a direct stake in the franchise’s success, and their decision to support this ecosystem from an early stage will reward them over time. Holders who hold their NFTs will experience multiple benefits within the game and the broader ecosystem.
Quests will also be available to XPSR-24 holders, giving them the opportunity to collaborate with us. As holders complete quests, their NFTs will level up and unlock higher-tiered rewards. Other opportunities may also open up to them as the Occultical universe gets more fleshed out.
Proof of Exposure
During the verification process, Confiction Labs will examine several aspects of an applicant’s exposure. This will be a deeper look into the different facets of an applicant’s capabilities.
Confiction Labs values holders that have a lot to contribute to the gaming ecosystem. Each applicant will go through a scoring process that determines their clearance score and their option to join the XPSR-24 allowlist. Some of the criteria used for Proof of Exposure include:
-
- Proof of XPSR – Onchain Value: Applicants will be able to connect their wallet to showcase their involvement and engagement in the web3 space. They will get a score based on the assets stored in that wallet.
- Proof of XPSR – Influence: Applicants can prove their influence on social media channels. They can link their accounts on platforms like X, Instagram or TikTok for verification and will get a score based on their following.
- Proof of XPSR – Vocation: Applicants can use their professional background to add to their score. They can use their LinkedIn account and the score will depend on their company, position, and tenure.
- Proof of XPSR – Erudition: An applicant’s LinkedIn account is also used to determine their educational attainment. They will get a score based on the reputation of the institution they were a part of, the level of education they completed, and years of tenure if they work in the educational sector.
- Proof of XPSR – Creativity: Applicants can also submit creative works such as writing and artwork and get a score based on the quality and originality of their work.
- Proof of XPSR – Play: Applicants can link their Steam accounts to showcase their experience and achievements when it comes to gaming.
All of these criteria combined act as a deep profiling system, determining which community members are most suited to spearhead Collaborative Entertainment and advance the development of an entertainment franchise. A gamer with a lot of hours and contributions to different games on Steam can bring a lot of insight when it comes to building the FICT ONE: Occultical universe. They are valuable because they know what it takes to make the best possible game.
Being able to contribute through the medium of their choosing, from the written word, art, or music can inspire the community, influence others, and help to expand the Occultical universe as well. Applicants will be able to submit links to their public works and detail their work experience. The team at Confiction Labs will review these links and assign an appropriate score. While you may not necessarily have exposure to all of these criteria, many others can make up for it. All of your exposure will be added to your total clearance score.
XPSR-24, at its core, is all about collaboration. We would not be able to build Riftstorm and any of our future games without the support of our valued community members. As the community invests their time and efforts into building our IPs, they develop a sense of ownership, keeping them engaged and involved while also incentivizing them for the changes they helped create.
