Web3 Verification Method Proof of Exposure Gains Global Attention

In August, we introduced Proof of Exposure, a new way of verifying human accounts while measuring the potential of community members’ contributions to Confiction Labs’ FICT ONE ecosystem, Occultical. This measurement would determine an applicant’s Clearance Level, which would unlock several perks tied to Confiction Labs’ projects, such as Riftstorm. This new verification method serves several purposes. Community members with high clearance scores would become a part of the allowlist for the XPSR-24 NFT collection. This ensures that the initial holders of XPSR-24 would be individuals who have the skills, knowledge, and influence to spearhead the growth of the Occultical universe and Confiction Labs’ vision for Collaborative Entertainment. Additionally, Proof of Exposure enables genuine community members to reap the benefits of supporting Confiction Labs. The verification prevents bots from overtaking the allowlist application, which has been a common challenge among web3 gaming and NFT projects.

“Occultical is the first IP we’ve created where we can show how Collaborative Entertainment works. Every IP starts with one project, and being a developer, it made sense for us to start with a game.”

– Arief Widhiyasa
